Worth

Worth

Worth

Regina Peoples,

What’s the dollar sign on your peace of mind
What is it worth
Life and despair follow everywhere
There is no ever after on earth

So what do you do when your dollar is not worth a dime
And you sell your soul to buy more time

You’ve got to hold on, so you just keep trying.
Kick the can down the line, hold on and pray for better times.
And when the light is fading and your eyes lose their shine.
Seek value within to hold and find, something that’s worth giving it another try.

Something like your hand in mine
Time together is worth it every time.
